Anyone Succeeding in Life Shares a Common Variable : A Great Team
No matter who you are or what you do in this life, anyone who has experienced some degree of success has not done it on their own.
We all rely on our team or teams to get the best result possible. Whether in business or our personal life there is no substitute for the positives that being part of a great team can deliver.
The moment we are born we become part of a team. Our family, whatever the composition or structure is our team. We grow and become part of other teams. It might be a playgroup, then kindergarten, then school, then sporting teams or debating teams or a choir or an orchestra. We progress to tertiary education or the workforce and again we are part of a team.
Any successful athlete has a team behind them. No one performs with any level of success entirely on their own. They will be part of a high functioning team that may include a coach, a manager, a doctor, a physiotherapist, a psychologist, a nutritionist and so on. They all bring certain skills to the group that when combined provide Whole Brain® Thinking. There may also be teams within teams or there may be two teams such as the work team and the family team.
The family team is one that as such we don't choose, with the exception of our life partner. So, while our family team is probably the most important team we will ever be a part of, there are a lot of other dynamics involved here such as love and kinship that are not part of this discussion today. The work team is however another matter entirely.
Whoever you are, whatever you do, we all rely on teams to help get us where we want to be. But, how do we become aligned with a team that will work for our particular situation? How do we get the best diversity of thinking from our team? Whole Brain® Thinking is all about using the preferred thinking preferences of your team to get the best possible outcome for you and them.
If you want to succeed, you need a great team. Plain and simple. Thinking DNA can show you how to cultivate that great team. Rethink your business thinking.
