It's all about Trust!
Bridge the gap between big business and small business
When was the last time you said "Wow. My banker/my landlord/my wholesaler always really understands my situation and knows how to deliver the best outcomes in our business relationship. I really trust them to do the right thing by me".
What's that you say? Hey, this is a public forum. I can't repeat that!
Safe to say I would guess that the answer is hardly ever coming from a positive experience. This resonates in all aspects of our lives but for SMEs it has become a way of life. No wonder their trust levels are at a point where they are sceptical of any interaction with the bigger end of town. There are always exceptions but it seems that they are rare in the bureaucracies of today's service industries.
Small and medium size business owners are so wary that their mantra in today's business environment is one of "everyone wants a piece of me". What's left for me! No wonder they are sceptical and cynical.
With a background as an award winning retailer/franchisee, a money market dealer, a professional in behavioural psychology and an accredited HBDI practitioner, I have experienced the struggles of an SME operator from both sides of the fence. I know what it's like to sign a lease for business premises. I know what it's like to sign trade credit applications and mortgage documents that put your house on the line if things turn pear shaped. All of our business dealings are underpinned by a raft of personal guarantees. Most people in the corporate world have no idea what that feels like and the pressures that go with that.
If this resonates with you, whether you are the CEO of a large corporate or an SME struggling to keep your head above water and you would like to bridge that gap between big business and small business and you would like to learn more about how Thinking DNA can help you, get in touch through a message on LinkedIn, email me, ros@thinkingdna.com.au or call me 0422 609 010.
